An analog celebration worthy of three off-centered decades!

It’s not every year that you turn 30 .. so to celebrate brewing since ‘95, we’re turning up the volume! This year’s annual celebration of all things analog has been slightly elevated to become a birthday extravaganza like no other. Starting with ... a once in a lifetime collaboration with our friends at Relix!  

Relix x Dogfish Head collaboration

We’re teaming up with the folks at Relix to celebrate three decades of brewing off-centered goodness with something extra special specifically for Analog-A-Birthday … a collaboration beer that hits all the right notes. Inspired by the jam band spirit that’s been woven into our DNA since 1995, Pan-Am-Jam-Band is an American wheat ale brewed with four fruits from four iconic jam band meccas across the U.S.

From California, we’ve added cabernet sauvignon grapes in tribute to the jam band spirit born in San Francisco and inspired by the Grateful Dead. Georgia peaches join the mix as a nod to the Allman Brothers Band and the soulful Southern sound that shaped a movement. Then there are wild berries from Vermont, a shoutout to the legendary Phish and their devoted East Coast fanbase. Rounding out the lineup are prickly pears from Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, a tasty tip of the hat to The String Cheese Incident and their high-altitude jams.

Pan-Am-Jam-Band will be releasing on Friday, Nov. 7 exclusively at our Milton Brewery and Brewings & Eats, just in time for the main event! And if you’re planning to snag a 4-pack to-go, be sure to look closely at the labels ... each can will be showcasing artwork dedicated specifically to one of these four jam band regions!

The main event

Relix will also be joining up for the main event on Saturday, Nov. 8 at our Milton Brewery. They’ll be on-site for Analog-A-Birthday, happening from 1 – 4 p.m., with a booth where festival-goers can meet the crew, talk tunes, snag some freebies, and dive deeper into the shared ethos of creativity, craft, and community that keeps our partnership singing. Plus, they’ll even have some games to test your jam-band knowledge!  

For the main event, we’ll be transforming the brewery into a music venue meets record fair meets tattoo parlor meets beer festival. You can browse records and other musical goodness while sipping on 18+ samples of beer, spirits, and cocktails and grooving to live music sets from One & A Quarter and Bushwick’s Dead.

Yes, we did in fact say ... er, type! ‘tattoo parlor’! Back by popular demand, Timeless Tattoo returns for Analog-A-Birthday to offer Dogfish Head-inspired flash tattoos throughout the event! Tattoos will be offered first-come, first-served, and spots aren’t guaranteed, so arrive early and get ready to wear your love for Dogfish Head on your sleeve.

Beyond the beer, beats, and ink, guests can dive into a paint-by-number mural with the Developing Artist Collaboration, explore a pop-up museum curated by History Factory, press custom T-shirts, and meet the Relix crew at their booth for music talk and freebies.

Make it a weekend of goodness

If one day of celebrating isn’t enough ... don’t worry, we’ve got a jam-packed weekend lined up with happenings to get you in the analog spirit! On Friday, Nov. 7, swing on by the Dogfish INN for a fireside chat with our pals from Relix, and then end the evening with live music by the rockin’ Bushwick’s Dead from 9 – 11 p.m. at Brewings & Eats.  

After the big day, you can recover in style at Chesapeake & Maine during our Recovery Brunch on Sunday, November 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This laid-back feast is the perfect way to ease back into reality after a weekend of off-centered celebrations with indulgent bites like PB&J French Toast, Lobster Benedict, Maine Blueberry Pancakes, breakfast cocktails and more!
