This Porter is aged on American Oak, but still includes a touch of American character - just like the Cannonball that still rests in the wall at the Cannonball House in Lewes, Delaware. Strong enough to survive but light enough to still be nimble. So, raise one to the Lewes Historical Society! 

Appearance: Deep Black with a tan head
Aroma: Roasty malt with a hint of smoke
Flavor: Chocolate forward with a vanilla oak finish
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with lingering bitter chocolate finish
Pairings: Grilled meats like the Steak frites or surf and turf. Any of the burgers as well as any chocolaty desserts.
