Spice up your Stout

Our R&D brewers were met with a challenge to create a milk stout, but there was a catch! They weren’t allowed to use any expected ingredients: no chocolate, coffee, or vanilla. By a well-stocked spice cabinet and the knowledge that spice is the flavor of life, they created this deliciously drinkable, molé inspired milk stout, full of roasty character and lively spices.

Appearance: Deep dark brown, tan head
Aroma: Spicy, roasty, smokey, clove, cardamom, sweet cinnamon
Flavor: Smokey pepper, pleasant roast, cocoa, sweet, nutty, spice
Mouthfeel: Medium body, smooth, lingering spice
