Brewed with hibiscus, inspired by a trip to Japan

Saison de Roselle is the 2025 BBC homebrew competition winning recipe brought to life! It’s inspired by our coworker Jesse’s trip to Japan where he was having a hibiscus tea and his 3 year old daughter yelled ‘I like your pink drink daddy!’. He thought the complexity of the floral tea would pair well with one of his favorite beer styles, the Saison! Roselle Is French for Hibiscus.

Appearance: Hazy Orange-Pink with Light Pink Foam
Aroma: Floral, Hibiscus Tea, Peppery, Spicy, Bready, Fresh Dough
Flavor: Bready Malt, Spicy, Peppery, Clove, Fruity, Hibiscus Tea, Earthy
Mouthfeel: Medium Light with Dry, Tart Finish
