Drift into vanilla bliss

This Baltic Porter was aged for a year in freshly emptied rum barrels from our own distillery. To complement the rich malty flavors and barrel notes, we conditioned it on whole Madagascar vanilla beans. Fun fact: Studies have shown that humans find vanilla the most pleasing aroma regardless of geography or culture. Notes of toasted oak, baking chocolate and vanilla leap from the glass with a warming, blissful finish.

Appearance: Opaque, black with tan head
Aroma: Vanilla, toasted oak, hints of dark rum
Flavor: Baking chocolate, toasted oak, spice, vanilla, light roasted notes, sweet
Mouthfeel: Full-bodied and viscous with a warming finish
