Brewed in partnership with OperaDelaware for our first Benevolence Beer of 2025, Fearless Hazel (6.5% ABV) celebrates the legacy of Hazel Ying Lee, the first Chinese-American woman to earn a pilot's license and fly for the U.S. military. Together with OperaDelaware, we wanted to create a beer to Hazel's liking, "Damn potent so good & smooth." On Wednesday, March 5 and 19, from 4 - 9 p.m., Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats is hosting a Benevolence Night to benefit OperaDelaware, a non-profit whose mission is to produce bold, vibrant, and creative performances that empower artists, enrich the community, entertain audiences, and encourage curiosity. 10% of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to OperaDelaware!

On Wednesday, March 5 from 6 - 8 p.m., enjoy a special live opera performance by OperaDelaware! Their singers will be performing classic arias as they move around Brewings & Eats, making the whole restaurant a stage so everyone has a front row seat to their incredible performance!

Dylan Canfield is a singer-songwriter who currently lives in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. His major influences are span a wide spectrum from artists like Bruce Springsteen, John Denver, Jackson Browne, Don McClean, Brian Fallon, Stephen Jenkins, The Bee Gees to The Paper Kites, Sam Fender, Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon and many more.

GXB’s scorching, hook laden rock and roll blends with country and soul influences for a tight, high energy live show. Built around the “instant classic” songwriting of Guy Bouchie, the band is rounded out by veteran DC musician Ben Tufts and new addition hard-hitting drummer Eric Levy.
